How to get access to a web service
A. Contact us and describe your needs
Send an e-mail to the address indicated at Web service user support, briefly describing your needs.
If you have an appropriate and legitimate need to automate person-centric searches, and we have a web service meeting your needs, we will provide you a link to the Web Service Definition.
B. Review the service and submit an application
Use the sample queries on the Web Service Definition to see the calls in action on a test server. Modify the sample URLs following the syntax in the Web Service Definition in order to search on the kind of parameter(s) which you plan to use.
If the web service meets your needs, you will then be sent pricing info and an application. The application is necessary in order to make clear who you are, and to determine that the purpose associated with your web service use is acceptable.
If desired, fill out and return the application.
C. Use our test server to develop your software tools
If your application is approved:
You will be e-mailed a link which will let you reset your password and log in to our test server, rs.devel.judici.com. Note: These links are hard-coded with the address of our production server, so you'll need to replace www.judici.com with rs.devel.judici.com in order to proceed.
You will be presented with the entire click-thru agreement under which the web service is offered.
Select the desired web service from the Services tab on the account, and this will load up a partial URL containing your Authentication parameters.
Add the rest of the required parameters (per the web service definition previously provided) to the partial URL in order to create some manual queries you can run in a browser in order to return sample data for developing the necessary programs to automate your use of the web service.
Contact us when your programming is complete, and provide us the account contact info (name, address, email, phone) to use when we set you up on the production server.
Note: In order to ensure that your web service implementation programming is working correctly, we reserve the right at that point to require that you successfully pass a set of tests using data you extract from the test server.
We will then set you up an account on our production server at www.judici.com for that contact, and e-mail them a link for that account. Once you have changed your password and accepted the click-thru agreement on the production server, you can alter the URLs used in your programming to indicate this server and begin querying live data.
